David Hoyos
Chief–Director–Head | Strategic & Data-Informed Creator | AI-Powered Experience Design | Multi-Industry Impact | High-Performance & Highly-Engaged Team Builder | Mentor & Coach | Disruptive Thinker & Problem Solver
David Hoyos is a creative director and design strategist who has spent his career at the intersection of brand, user experience, and product growth. He brings the rare combination of hands-on design craft and executive-level strategic thinking to every engagement. It is the kind of perspective that comes from having led design at scale, shipped complex products, and watched the decisions made in a design system ripple through a billion-dollar business.
His work spans some of the most recognized names in enterprise and consumer technology, including DHL, Microsoft, Fidelity, and Kronos. Most recently, he spearheaded the UX and UI vision, strategy, and full execution of a 140-million-dollar SaaS platform investment: a ground-up transformation that required building not just a product, but the design infrastructure, team alignment, and strategic clarity to sustain it at scale.
That career arc, from multi-million to multi-billion-dollar product environments, is what David now brings to the companies he works with as a fractional design lead. In a landscape where AI is accelerating the pace of product development and raising the bar for what users expect, the ability to move fast without losing coherence has become a competitive advantage. David provides exactly that: the creative direction, the system thinking, and the execution capacity to help modern B2B SaaS teams build products worth using and brands worth remembering.
He is an Advisory Board Member for the User Experience Design program at Brandeis University Graduate Professional Studies, where he contributes to shaping the next generation of design practitioners.
David works with founders, product leaders, and growth-stage teams who are serious about design as a driver of business outcomes, not just an aesthetic layer on top of a product.
